BIOTIN 5000mcg. I love this stuff!
I take 1 Biotin 5000mcg pill a day plus 1 mega-multi vitamin and 1 MSM 1000MG per day. I have been taking the Biotin for 10 weeks now and I have noticed a considerable difference in my new growth. I am an African American woman with 4A/4B hair texture (pretty kinky). I texturize my hair to loosen my curl pattern. I have not noticed any signs of "faster" hair growth (my hair grows about 1/2" month as long as I take care of my ends) - BUT I have noticed a difference in the texture and health of my new growth. It's much shinier stronger softer and healthier. In fact I am scheduled for a text. re-touch in about 2 and a half weeks (I texturize my new growth every 8 weeks)and I might just wait longer because my new growth is NOT kinky - it grows out of my scalp with a loosened curl pattern (more wavy) - weird? I know! Another plus is that my nails DO grow faster - I just clipped them to nubs only 2 weeks ago and they are now hanging over my nail bed! My skin is much clearer (glowing if you will).
